Something to think about when you get started on an rp-
You can set the notifications for the forum to email you when someone replies to your posts. This could make it a lot easier to keep track of what's going on, read the posts on the go, and generally keep yourself organized among all the other threads you aren't necessarily engaged in.
To do that, go to
Profile>Settings>Notifications
You will be able to choose what kind of notifications will get sent to you, much like Facebook does. I don't see anything about choosing specific boards, or even "new posts in forums you're active in" but there are a few options in there.
"Quoting" another player may be very helpful in rp, when you want to make sure that they get a notification that you have replied or are directing to their post. It's been forever since I've been active on a forum, but it's kind of exciting because this is where I started rping before moving to TK because of a forum member's suggestion.
