Remember that I am only the site admin, not the moderator of the roleplay threads. Please contact me when you have any issues regarding the site itself. This includes anything disruptive to the roleplay; such as spamming or misuse of the forum for the intended purpose. Any issues with individual roleplays should be addressed with the GM who runs it.
Since the forum is new, there might be issues with colors or text sizes. Let me know if anything is hard to read, missing, or if you encounter any weird situations on the site.

Do we have to come to you for moderator status on threads? Or is the creator of the thread automatically the moderator? I guess as it develops, folks can fit into roles as mods for certain genres or something, if it comes down to it.

I'm going to check to see if it's automatic moderation. If it doesn't have that option, I will certainly pay attention and crown individuals who begin roleplays.

I can promote players to become moderators of a specific board, not an individual thread. Once I see you open a roleplay or request to be moderator, I will promote you. Remember, if you abuse your power by using it in a roleplay that doesn't belong to you, I will be forced to remove your moderator crown.

If we think of moderating more like housekeeping, and I think we'll all be just fine. An OOC section to display bios or do you mean a section to request becoming a moderator? I think maybe an OOC threat somewhere for bios of users could be good, if we wanted to share anything about ourselves (who we are, what characters people may know us as, interests, etc.), as of now there's no real "Introduce yourself!" thread. |
