Bitterness seemed to be a feeling that passed around with an overproduction rate here at this unholy little town. Everyone carried with them their fair share of it; maybe it was the alcohol or the cigarette smoke, the prostitutes or the stink of dead bodies that never washed it away.
Although Amara might seem like a morally ambiguous person, but in truth, she did have a hard code of ‘Do no harm’ instilled in her that made people like Sarah vile in her eyes. Charlie’s response wasn’t truthful sounding at all, but Charlie didn’t seem like the kind of guy that gives his dirty laundry for someone else to take care of. ‘’I’ll trust that ‘Nothing’ wasn’t ordering a hit, then… ‘’ Her eyes scanned their surroundings again, seeing the broken glass of the cheap vase that has miraculously stuck around for quite some time in these dirty old hallways. ‘’I’ll come with, I’m really feeling a drink. Something with a whole lot of lemon’’
Banging and crashing came from the bathroom two rooms away. Sarah’s best tactic to keeping the knife from her throat was to grab it with her bare hand and push at it. Her legs were trying to kick Ashley off of her but all they were reaching was the toilet seat- knocking the plastic cover off, and the towel rack. Her foot finally centered in his chest and she repeatedly kicked his ribs with all the might she could offer, which wasn’t altogether much considering the fact she was awfully tired and that she wasn’t exactly a big muscly woman.
‘’Leh! Leeahh! Let go! I don’t want to kill you! Why would I want to kill you!’’ Killing him would be just too easy now, and she was always curious about those other supernatural things like her so maybe killing him can wait after he tells her about his little prophecy? If he would that is. She rounded her knee and kicked it upwards towards his chin, then she drove the knife she was keeping from her neck into his arm that was holding her. If he dropped her then she would quickly escape the bathroom but not the hotel room, she wanted him to continue chasing her, maybe if she’s lucky enough she can get him to calm down for a while. If not? Ah well, rest in peace.
